Official Rules
Iron Dog, Inc. (Iron Dog) Raffle ending February 25, 2012.

Raffle Prizes: The winner of all raffles prizes are responsible for all taxes (sales and 1099 other income prize winnings). All winners must provide proper identification when claiming prizes. If the winner elects not to accept any prize, no substitution or exchanges for cash or other goods will be provided.

Grand Prize: A 2012 Toyota Tundra valued up to $35,000 donated by Kendall Toyota of Anchorage and Kendall Toyota of Fairbanks. The winner is responsible for all taxes, title and registration fees. The vehicle will be delivered after winner signs the eligibility and liability release informing the winner’s liability for all of the applied taxes, license and registration fees. The winner must have proper identification when claiming the vehicle (a valid state driver’s license) and appropriate insurance as determined by the State of Alaska. If the winner elects not to accept the vehicle, no substitution or exchange for cash or other goods will be provided. IRON DOG is not responsible for the vehicle’s quality nor shall it have any responsibility once the vehicle has been conveyed or delivered to the winner. All wraps, graphics and decals must remain on truck for a minimum of six months from drawing date. Winner is permitted to remove graphics from the windows and glass for safety purposes.

Second Prize: A 2012 Polaris Rush 600 Pro R valued at approximately $10,000, donated by Alaska Power Sports. IRON DOG is not responsible for the snowmobile’s quality nor shall it have any responsibility once the snowmobile has been conveyed or delivered to the winner. All vehicle wraps, graphics and decals must remain on snowmobile for a minimum of six months from drawing date.

Third Prize: A Hawaiian vacation package for two valued at approximately $2,500, donated by USTravel. Travel must be booked in advance, early planning is recommended to ensure the best availability and blackout dates may apply. This gift certificate is transferable, but not-redeemable for cash. The bearer is responsible for any expense incurred above the $2500 maximum value of the gift certificate, all federal taxes and must be 21 years of age. Please note that our company policy precludes us from accepting copies or other substitutes for the original document. Original document must be presented at time of ticketing. USTravel is not responsible for loss or theft. Travel is subject to availability and must be completed no later than the December 31, 2012 expiration date. Failure to collect the prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize. This certificate is not redeemable for cash and has no value. Travel must be completed by the expiration date indicated above. The bearer is responsible for any expense incurred above the maximum value of the certificate.

Fourth Prize: Two round trip tickets on Era Aviation valued at approximately $850, donated by ERA Aviation. Valid for travel between any two Era Alaska served destinations. Travel with these vouchers is restricted to “W” Class of service. Vouchers carry no cash value and may not be sold. Travel certificates expire 2/24/13, no exception. Advance reservations required. Passengers must mention that they are holding AD00 tickets at the time arrangements are made. Valid for adult travel only. Applicable baggage fees are the responsibility of the traveler. Vouchers must be presented at the time of travel. Fully-transferrable and may be used for one-way travel.

Fifth Prize: A custom Iron Dog merchandise package valued at approximately $750, donated by Shirts Up Serigraphics.

Sixth Prize: One year supply of NOS Energy Drinks. 16 cases or 1 can per day. Value is $688. Can be any flavor: Regular NOS, Sugar Free, Grape, Loaded Cherry or Citrus (16oz cans).

Eligibility. For the vehicles in this raffle: Only licensed drivers (license cannot be suspended), 18 years of age (on or before October, 2012) and older (or their immediate legal parent or guardian) are eligible to win a vehicle prize.  ALL ticket holders must meet the requirements according to Alaska Gaming Statutes to be eligible to participate and enter. To be eligible to win, entries must be completed and received by IRON DOG in the format designated below. Board members of IRON DOG and employees of IRON DOG are not eligible. Prize donor employees are also not eligible. IRON DOG reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for violation of these Official Rules, any applicable laws, or anyone who makes any misrepresentations relative to this drawing of chance.

Entry in Drawing. Participation in this drawing by chance shall be through ticket sales. Each ticket is $60. A maximum of 2,000 entries, which comply with these Official Rules, will be accepted, on a first come, first served basis. Entries may not be resold and no refunds or replacements will be issued.
Cut-off/Maximum Entries. No entries will be accepted or distributed after February 23, 2012.

Selection of and Notification to Winner. The winners will be selected at a random drawing in plain view using a raffle drum and the actual ticket stubs in Fairbanks, Alaska on February 25, 2012 approximately 1:00-3:00 p.m. Alaska time by an impartial person or party. Entrants do not need to be present to win. The winner will be notified by certified email or telephone, according to the contact information provided to IRON DOG at the time of entry. The odds of winning the prize will depend on the number of entries. In the event a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time frame, fails to otherwise qualify for the prize and/or declines the prize, an alternate winner will be selected. If not claimed within 14 days of notification, the winner designee will forfeit any rights to the prize and the same will be awarded to an alternate winner. The right to take possession of any prize through the winning entry is neither assignable nor transferable.

Drawing Procedure. Six tickets will be drawn randomly in ascending order from 6th place to the 1st place (Grand Prize). The ticket drawn for each prize will decide the winner, this shall be final and binding in all respects.

Affidavit & Release. As a condition of being awarded the vehicle, the winner designee shall be required to execute and deliver to IRON DOG a signed affidavit of eligibility, acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability.

Use of Winner’s Name and Likeness. In consideration for being awarded and delivered the vehicle, the winner agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of such person’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity.

Taxes and Deductibility. Donations or ticket revenue made in connection with this drawing of chance are not tax deductible. All federal, state and local taxes associated with the receipt and use of the vehicle are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local taxes are based on the final actual retail value of the vehicle.

Governing Laws. This drawing by chance and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Alaska. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited.

Contest Sponsor. This drawing by chance in a charity drawing held in compliance with the State of Alaska and is sponsored by IRON DOG, which is a qualified organization exempt from federal income tax pursuant 26 U.S.C. Section 501. IRON DOG holds a valid Alaska Gaming Permit #79.

Dispute Resolution. IRON DOG shall resolve all disputes in its sole and absolute discretion.

General Release. Each entrant releases IRON DOG, participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and successors from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all cause of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with or as a result of participation in this drawing by chance and if the winner, in acceptance, possession or use of the prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

Trademarks. Any trade names, trademarks or service marks shown as part of the materials associated with this drawing by chance are the property of their respective owners.
