Roger is a long time Fairbanks resident who works fro Carlile Transportation Systems and truly feels blessed to be able to work and recreate surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. After witnessing the camaraderie that existed among the racers and their families at the 2012 Awards Banquet, he let his 8 year old son Shjon talk him in to attempting the race and fulfilling a long standing dream of competing in the Iron Dog.
