The 2013 Iron Dog Safety Expo, Tech Inspection and Banquet is sponsored by Donlin Gold. The Donlin Gold Safety Expo will have quite a few vendors and NAOI safety classes going on. Every Iron Dog team will be present during the day while undergoing pre-race inspection of their safety and survival gear. The event is open to the public from 10am – 3pm. Come meet the racers and pick up some great safety tips along the way!

NEW FOR 2013:

Safety demonstrations will take place throughout the day. We expect to have demonstrations on frostbite awareness/prevention, avalanche awareness, how to recover a snowmobile from water, cold weather gear and so on.
Door prizes! Donlin Gold will be giving a helmet away every hour. Other sponsors may have a few goodies to give away. Come and see!
